Concept
Like the crests & troughs of alternating current, the knee & shoulder form the bulk of the practice volume of the modern orthopod. To best keep with the pace of the breathtaking speed with which technology has invaded sports medicine, the one unchanged way remains the patient. All progress in technology remains on paper only until it proves its mettle with the person in whom it matters the most, our patient. With this central theme in mind as the DNA behind the event, the Master case series is happy to present the Knee as the joint in the spotlight for its third season.
Like the previous two seasons, we focus on the practical rather than the didactic, actual outcomes rather than live demonstrations & cooperative discussions with constructive criticism rather than lecturing: all with the sole purpose of helping us serve our patients better.

Amite Pankaj Aggarwal
is an internationally renowned Orthopaedic surgeon. He has over 20 years of experience in Orthopaedics and joint replacement surgery. He has performed over 5000 joint replacement surgeries including complex deformities and revision surgeries. He has extensive experience in sports related arthroscopic surgeries of knee and shoulder. He has a rich experience of using bulk allografts in complex revision cases. One of the youngest surgeons in the country to become a professor of Orthopedics’ and a winner of many national and international fellowships and awards, he is a sought-after faculty for conferences, CMEs and courses on arthroplasty and arthroscopy.
Dr.
Atul Mishra
is the Director & Head for Orthopedics’ at Fortis Hospital, Noida. He has a rich experience of over 23 years in orthopedics and does about 1000 -1200 knee replacements and arthroscopies in a year. A prolific surgeon, he has dedicated his career to advancing the techniques of hip joint, shoulder arthroscopy and knee surgery. He has trained at various world-renowned international institutes in Japan, Italy & Germany.
Dr.
Raju Easwaran
is an expert Orthopaedics specialist currently associated with the Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. Passionate about joint preservation, he has enabled many injured athletes get back to their sport. He excels in Arthroscopic Surgeries of the knee, shoulder and hip. Specifically, w.r.t the shoulder joint, Dr Raju has a fellowship from the Royal Liverpool University & Broadgreen Hospitals in the northwest of UK, a large referral centre for shoulder diseases. He has also trained with Mr Peter Campbell at the St John of God Hospital at Perth, Australia which again is a very high-volume centre for shoulder surgeries. Dr Raju has also trained under Dr Phillipe Valenti at the Clinique Jouvenet in Paris who is an international authority and a designer surgeon of shoulder replacement implants.

Shekhar Srivastav
heads the Department of Orthopedics at Parmanand Special Surgery Hospital, Delhi. With over 20 years of experience, he specialises in Robotic Joint replacement & Arthroscopic Surgeries of Knee & Shoulder Joints. He is one best robotic knee replacement surgeon in North India. Trained at some of the best centres in India and abroad, he has performed thousands of Knee Replacement (Primary, Revision & Unicondylar replacement) & Arthroscopic Surgeries (ACL, Meniscus, Cartilage surgeries). For the shoulder joint, he’s an expert in performing Shoulder Arthroscopies (Bankart repair, Rotator Cuff Repair) & Shoulder replacement Surgeries (Total & Reverse Shoulder Replacements).
Dr.
Ankit Varshney
is a young Orthopaedic surgeon currently associated with Parmanand Special Surgery Hospital, Delhi. He has already made a name for himself in the field of Sports Medicine. He has successfully treated many renowned sportspersons including cricketers, wrestlers, boxers, athletes, shuttlers, and cyclists. A passionate sport orthopaedic and arthroscopy surgeon, he is known for his precision in diagnosing sports injuries and shoulder ailments and treating them using minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques to not just minimise recovery time but also ensure a speedy return to sport. has an experience of 22 years in this field of Orthopaedics. He is currently associated with Parmanand Special Surgery Hospital, Delhi. He has been associated with renowned hospitals and orthopaedic centres in Germany, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi for specialist trainings and fellowships. His areas of expertise include managing complex trauma, Hip Arthroplasty and Revisions, Joint Preservation Surgeries, Knee Arthroscopy and Pelvic and Acetabulum surgery.

Vikram Mhaskar
Dr Vikram Mhaskar is a fellowship trained exclusive knee and shoulder surgeon practising in New Delhi as the Director of JMVM Sports Injury Center at Sitaram Bhartia Institute Of Science & Research, specialising in advanced knee and shoulder surgery. He has edited and authored the book ‘Innovative Approaches In Knee Arthroscopy” with Springer Publications and is a co author of Essential Orthopaedics the most successfull textbook of Orthopaedics in India. He has over 30 indexed publications in international journals, 8 book chapters and 6 original techniques in knee and shoulder surgery published in journals such as Arthroscopy. He is an honorary professor at DIPSAR and has been on the communications committee of ISAKOS from 2019-2023. He runs a fellowship programme training budding knee and shoulder surgeons from India and abroad.

Himanshu Gupta
is an internationally trained orthopedic surgeon with a specialization in sports medicine and Joint Replacement surgeries. He has performed more than 2000 arthroscopic surgeries of knee and shoulder, complex joint replacement surgeries of hip and knee. He has trained at centres both in India and internationally under the best specialists in their fields. He practices out at Amicare Hospitals, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.

Naman Goel
is an Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Specialist currently working at Accord Superspeciality Hospital, Faridabad.
